Thank you Fares for taking care of my car!!! I have had bad experiences with mechanics in the past so I made sure I did my research to find a good mechanic for my VW. After being referred and reading several great reviews I took a chance in bringing my car for maintenance and work and I will never take my car anywhere else. The staff is nice and helpful and I don't feel like I'm being ripped off. Thank you for your great service!!!!

I've been using EAH for a few years and now my second Audi. This place is as good as it gets. Very professional and fair and capable. They take care of small issues gratis as a courtesy and I really appreciate it. Large repairs, yes, they do a great job and that's the key, of course. But if your tail light goes out they'll replace it in minutes no charge. Dome light in cabin rattling, fixed while getting a smog done. No charge. How much do I love that? A lot. I hated that rattle. It's like a toothache. Thank you Sean and Fares and Paula. True professionals.

Love this place!!! They have have excellent service, advice and very friendly. They use Genuine Audi parts and they are expertise's. If you ever want an honest shop for your Audi I would highly recommend coming to these guys, they will always take care of their customers and vehicle, you can not go wrong with choosing these guys. I don't know too much about cars but this place will make sure you go home happy and with your car working amazing. They are always willing to work with the client which is a huge plus for me. Sean, Fares, and the entire staff understand they are in the people business and take great pride in serving customers. I've been coming here for a couple of years and I am always amazed at the level of service provided. They are extremely trustworthy. I'd recommend their facilities for anything from an oil change to an engine overhaul.

Like most people here, I found EAH here on Yelp. The overwhelmingly positive reviews along with a couple good experiences had me feeling great about my new mechanic. It was about a year ago that my 2001 A4 started having some bigger problems (as these cars often do). My check engine light was coming and going, and the car wasn't running as smoothly as it once did. I brought the car in to have an annoying brake pedal issue repaired and to have the shop take a look at the source of my CEL issue. There were several codes that pointed to problems in the oxygen sensors, air flow, and exhaust systems. Without much of an explanation as to what the individual codes meant, I was informed by the shop that my car would need two new catalytic converters, and replacements of most of my oxygen sensors, coming to a total of ~$4500. That cost, being quite close to the total value of the car, was not one I was ready to pay. The advice from EAH was not necessarily to do the repair; the car would run without a problem for some time. But when the time came to have the car smog tested, it would no doubt fail. Their advice was to sell my car ASAP. Fast forward one (check engine light-filled and stressful) year to present day, and It's finally time to face the music. My car would need to pass smog for registration. I had since moved out of the Pasadena area to Carlsbad and took my car into a shop that would be tasked with finding the core issues causing the CEL and repair them so the car would pass smog. To avoid a natural bias as to which I was sure was a problem with the catalytic converters, I gave them the car without any explanation of what I thought the problem was. After a quick 2 hours with my car, they were able to identify several rather large vacuum leaks, and my car was good to go. Smog test passed. While I don't necessarily fault EAH for trying to up-sell me on something unnecessary and expensive (even though it's possible), I DO fault them for not taking a serious look at my car and finding the real cause to my problems. That's plain laziness. I was fooled by the front of friendly service and good Yelp reviews. I'm just happy I didn't take them up on the repair.

FARES, FARES, FARES! ...is the only name you need to know when it comes to EXCELLENT service on your AUDI or VW. I called European Auto Hause (EAH) early last week when my two front headlights died after a weekend driving my 2012 Jetta thru snow!...I know, weird reaction to snow from my car...I spoke to Fares...we set an appointment for 2 days later... The drive from Downey took me a lot longer (1hr) than the time the car was getting serviced. I didn't think it would be so quick. I had even looked into grabbing breakfast with my daughter down the street at a diner while the car was inside. "The breakfast plan" was to keep my 18month old from running around the shop because she's at that age where she can't sit still for more than a few minutes without wanting to tear up the place. We arrived, waited inside the lobby area while the car got driven to the work area in the back. When i took a peek for a second outside the window I saw the guys surrounded my car like it was a pit stop at a NASCAR race. Tire pressure, hood popped, and all the electric tool sound. I knew it was ALL BUSINESS, so I sat down with my tot....next thing Fares appeared at the door and i surely thought he was going to tell me it would be an hour, or so. No, no, no...instead he tells me the magic words -- "it's ready!" with my car waiting for me outside. Besides the headlights they even turned off the warning light of the "tire pressure." For all but 15minutes (and this may be stretching it). I was in complete " "wow" mode!! And then THE PRICE....that one was another "WOW!" (but emphasis with CAPS this time) - as it doesn't compare to anyone else!. I couldn't say enough THANK YOU'S...FARES and crew are not of this earth! Amazing all around. I will definitely be coming back time and time again! I haven't written a review in a while so i'm a little rusty...but this deserves high props! ~~~~~~~~~~ A little background as to how i came to find my favorite shop. I had an A4 previous to my VW Jetta that was running out of mileage on the warranty limit. It was going to start costing me an "arm and a leg" to fix stuff. So i searched YELP and found big reviews for this place above all others. Still not convinced, one day I called them and asked them about a nagging issue I had with the A4...from the description I gave them, FARES explained to me what it could be; which coincidentally I had the print out of the dealer service with the same diagnosis with DEALER PRICES.... He told me to bring it in, but I decided to trade it in for a Jetta instead baring all future headaches. When the Jetta needed maintenance for the 40K mile service it was out of pocket and the dealer was charging me 'arm and leg' rates again. So this time i decided to bring it to Fares and crew and they had done it for far less. I took my chances and could not agree with the YELP Community on this great recommendation!

Love this place. Excellent service and advice. Genuine Audi parts, genuine Audi expertise. Fares has been my guy for the life of my '07 Audi after my warranty expired and will continue to be. Speed of service 5/5 Quality of workmanship 5/5 General Experience 5/5 Typically I hate spending money keeping a car fixed and maintained but these guys make it as painless as possible. My favorite little thing is that just like a dealership you're car is washed every time.
