Most honest vw guy I've ever come across! I've brought my 05 beetle to many mechanics either to have them, make things worse because they don't know how to work on it, or overcharge and keep it for an excessively long time. Weary at my first visit fares quickly changed my mind solving a returning problem my old mechanic "fixed" 4 times in a matter of hours, while the old guy took days, and at half the price. I have been going to fares for over a year now and her hasn't let me down once.. Your awesome fares!!!!

The best car service center I've ever dealth with. I love my car, but I would love it a lot less if I didn't have a trusted, fairly priced, service oriented mechanic to take it to. The owner, Fares, is outstanding. He'll tell you what you need, what you don't, and make sure the work is done right. When I had a recall fix I didn't even know about he even called the dealer before I did to help me out. As long as I drive an Audi, I will go nowhere else.

It's not often that the car is flakier than the service place. That's certainly the case with my Audi and the service here. Excellent service, no flakes! I still love my flaky Audi and now it has a home when it acts up.

The owner of Independent Audi, Fares, is such a great person to deal with, always friendly and always trying to help out. We've been taking our cars (a Jetta and an Audi A4) there for a while now. He's very fast and flexible, always honest with fixing the car. He doesn't charge an arm and a leg for small things either, in fact, he's taken my car in and gotten me a ride to-and-fro from the shop, only to find that the problem was out of my price range, so he helped me keep the car going (power steering problem) with some fluids and good tips until I could afford to fix it - all this free of charge. Always good servicing and professional skills, always honest and always on time.

There's no other option for Audi service in LA. Period. Thank you guys for your honesty, taking care of my baby and taking me to Macy's on Lake while my car was being serviced :) I'll be back at 35k mile checkup.

Awesome and fast service! I had my rear brake pads changed and took them less than 30 mins to do it. It would take forever for the dealership to get this service done..Highly recommended

10k later (well actually 12k) i call fares and tell him i need a oil change BADLY! he said to bring it in. i pull up, and right into the bay. sweet! i dont recommend just showing up w/ out making an appointment, you might wanna call first. i wanted to share with you that FARES will go out of his way for you. in and out within 30 minutes. thanks again FARES.
