Pasadena Audi and Volkswagen Repair

I have always had my Audi vehicles serviced at the dealership (in this case Rusnak Audi in Pasadena). I'm a woman and to be honest, I've always been a bit skeptical and apprehensive to take my car anywhere but a dealership for service. But, having recently hit 55k miles on my '06 Audi A3, I knew it was time for a major (no longer under warranty) service. Drats. I read a lot of wonderful reviews about Independent Audi and VW in Pasadena on Yahoo Local and figured I'd give it a try. Imagine my surprise to get a very reasonably priced major service done at this joint! No joke, this IS the place to take your Audi or VW if you're not already doing so. The owner, Farras is amazing as is the support staff. I was given an initial price and when I picked-up my vehicle it was even less than the original estimate. As well, they rotated my tires, checked my brakes (yep, I was told no need to do anything yet as it hadn't yet hit the sensors) and my car was given a very thorough and very Audi maintenance scheduled service -- all to Audi specifications. In addition, I was given the good news that my timing belt didn't need changing until 75k miles (it was checked too and it's just fine), my tires were rotated ("lots of meat still on them"), and all my doors were oiled with WD-40 ("so as to not creak"). Talk about service! As well, when I first dropped-off my car, I was asked if I needed a drive home (or, to a local location). I declined as I had set-up a drive prior to making my appointment -- but, it was so great to know that IF I did need a drive to or fro, Farras and his folks would have made sure I had one. Also, the main office is very clean offering coffee and magazines (should you want to wait for a short service). Farras was a master mechanic at Rusnak Audi for 10 years prior to opening his own shop. All of the current licenses and certifications are prominently displayed on the walls behind the main desk. I loved the experience and overall cost and plan to ALWAYS have my Audi serviced with Farras. Skip the Audi or VW dealership and give him a try. You won't be disappointed!

Go Here To Service Your Car !!! Don't go anywhere else these guys are the best. Do not go to the dealer these guys are way better. Service is great. I did an oil change at my friends shop he couldn't reset the oil service light for me called them and they did it for free no charge. Great people.

I JUST HAD MY BRAKE FLUID CHANGED FOR MY 07 A4. IT'S BEEN 4TH TIMES SINCE I BROUGHT MY CAR TO FARRES, EVERYTIME I BROUGHT MY CAR THERE, I CAME BACK WITH COMPLETE SATISFACTION!! PEOPLE TELL ME I HAVE OCD OR HAVING A PMS WHEN IT COMES TO MY CAR BUT WHENEVER I BRING IT TO FARRES I JUST SIT BACK AND RELAX...NOT EVEN WORRIED SINGLE SECOND NOR NEED ANY QUESTIONS TO ASK BECAUSE HE'S SOMEONOE THAT YOU CAN REALLY TRUST AND QUITE HONESTLY HE'S NOT IN FOR THE MONEY...OF COURSE WHO DOES BUSINESS W/O MAKING MONEY!?! BUT HE HAS A PASSION AND WITH THE BELOW INDUSTRY'S AVERAGE PRICE WITH TOP QUALITY SERVICE YOU NEED NO QUESTIONS TO ASK..THANK YOU FARRES!!!!

Yesterday I took my car to Fares and crew at Independent Audi and VW Service and once again was so very pleased with their work. I feel confident in the service I receive and they are genuinely the nicest people. They could have recommended all kinds of work for my car, but told me all I needed was an alignment. It’s nice to have a place you can trust. Thank you to Fares, Silva, Nick and the rest of the people who work there.

I HAVE AN A4 AND EVERYTIME I WOULD HAVE PROBLEMS WITH IT I WOULD CALL FARES AND EXPLAIN WHAT WAS GOING ON AND HE KNEW RIGHT AWAY WHAT WAS WRONG. I TOOK IT TO HIM AND IN LESS THAN 5 MIN MY CAR WAS FIXED.. A BROKEN PART IN MY CAR WAS ALSO FIXED IN NO TIME. THE WORK IS DONE PERFECT AND NOT SLOPPY AND HE GIVES A REASONABLE PRICE. HIS SERVICE IS GREAT AND I WILL BE GOING BACK NEXT TIME.. ; ) YOUR THE BEST FARES!! : )

I RECENTLY BOUGHT A WOLFSBURG JETTA. LOOKING FOR A COMPETENT MECHANIC, I FOUND FARE. I WENT TO HIS ESTABLISHMENT FOR AN OIL CHANGE, AND NOT ONLY WAS AN OIL CHANGE GIVEN, BUT HE ALSO ROTATED THE TIRES (NO CHARGE). I REALLY BELIEVE IT'S VERY DIFFICULT TO GET A GOOD MECHANIC. IN MY OPINION HE'S NOT JUST A MECHANIC, HE DEFINATELY A TECHNICIAN. READY FOR ANY PROBLEM. I TELL EVERY0NE THAT HAS A VW/AUDI TO TRY HIM. BEING OPTIMISTIC FOR GOOD VW/AUDI CARE A GAMBLE. TO BE SURE, SEE FARES.......HONEST,AND VERY REASONABLE..

I am so happy having found Fares, an extraordinary technician who provides an extraordinary service and quality of work...at a very reasonable price..... I started coming here about 1 year ago, just shortly after Fares' grand opening. The word to describe my first and every experience thereafter, would be genuine. Fares is not only superbly skilled as a mechanic, he carries with him a professional staff who falls second to none. In my short 32 years of life, I have met very few trustworthy and honorable people on a first impression-let alone, a mechanic who upholds these traits. After reading these reviews, it is no surprise that others share his integrity with me, rescinding the phrase, "It's so hard to find a good mechanic you can trust." If you are looking for somewhere or someone to take your vehicle to, look no longer. I travel from Chino Hills and would triple the drive without thinking twice about it. Fares' recommendations are forthright and straightforward. I congradulate him on a successful first year and it is an honor to know him and his wonderful wife, who both run the business. Personally, I think he should change the spelling of his name to "Fair-es" ! ;) Although, there is one drawback that hinders all of us who have recently dedicated ourselves to him... There can only be one. Fair-Fares, Rock on!

LISTEN UP PEOPLE. If you live within 50 miles of Independent Audi & VW Service, Inc. you are crazy to take your car anywhere else. The owner, Fares is a former Rusnak top-notch mechanic who is highly skilled and he has assembled a team that will blow your mind. You will know immediately that you are not being scammed because the level of skill is matched by their integrity and honest approach. It is rare to see anymore, but Fares and his wife Sylva have built a business caring about their reputation. They will do everything to make sure you are completly satisfied. I could not recommend Independent Audi & VW Service, Inc. more highly and thank them for being in business.

I drive an Audi S4 Convertible that's still under warranty but was looking to add on some aftermarket goodies. I wanted to change the factory exhaust among other things and Fares from Independent Audi came highly recommended. I asked around because my car was purchased and serviced from Rusnak Audi in Pasadena where Fares worked before. Needless to say, the guy knows his stuff and worked on much higher end cars than mine at Rusnak. I took my car to Independent Audi and am very happy with the quality of work peformed and even more, at a reasonable price! BUT WAIT - THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON WHY HE WILL BE SERVICING MY CAR FROM NOW ON is because of his honesty and integrity!! He could have sold me a bunch of other things that I would have willingly purchased to increase the performance of my car but he didn't. He told me I would be wasting money and "while he wanted the business, he couldn't in good conscious" recommend I purchase those particular products. He could have made a lot more money off of me but he didn't. An expert mechanic with integrity? Now that's a contradiction if I've ever heard one! The fact of the matter is that's it's true! I had never met Fares and I was literally off the street and I feel he treated as if he had known me for years. I can't recommend him enough. It's good to know I have a mechanic I can trust once my warranty runs out. Give him a try, you'll see what I mean.
