I went to Independent Audi & VW under high recommendations and in hindsight, I should have gone somewhere else. Although customer service was good, physical service on my car left a bit to be desired. As an enthusiast, I'm probably more anal about my car than others, but based on the accolades and claims I expected more. To further complicate matters, a few vacuum lines were either broken or left disconnected and a newly replace strut mount bushing failed (after only 2000 miles), leading to excess vibration and inner CV joint failure as well (on the same side). Upon removal and inspection, the bushing used was not OEM, I had to replace bushings on both sides and it leads me to wonder how many other non-OEM parts were used - invalidating their claim that they use all OEM parts. Only writing facts, not trying to flame the shop. But every story has two sides. As an enthusiast, I would probably stay away from the shop.
